About The Position

We are currently seeking a Team Lead in our Project and Development Services team that supports a financial client within the Mid-South region (NC, SC, TN). This position is onsite / hybrid and requires up to 20% travel. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing executing complex construction projects throughout the Mid-South region through a team of 4-6 project managers. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from Pre-construction and Design Management to Occupancy/Commissioning and Closeout, will speak to your holistic approach to client needs. Your influence will be founded in facilitating critical stakeholder meetings, providing on-site project leadership and applying financial acumen to meet client goals. LEADERSHIP Review data and analysis information to act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Ensure a One Team mentality by developing and maintaining relationships with client and key stakeholders. Inspire a team of Consultants, Designers, General Contractors, and Landlords to collaborate in ways that deliver great outcomes for our clients. Contribute to a diverse, supportive, and talented team. Demonstrate the ability to create a solutions-oriented environment focused on delivering value to the client. Look for opportunities to streamline processes and import Best Practices. Review data and analysis information to act decisively, think big, and manage your time to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Face to face and/or remote daily interpersonal interaction is usually required in order to perform the job.

Requirements

  • (7+) years of relevant experience related to base building and interiors construction management.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent desired
  • This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with of low voltage cabling a plus.
  • Corporate Real Estate/Office project management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team who delivers wide variety projects for both new construction, infrastructure and tenant/interior improvement projects. Manage projects individually as well.
  • Lead a team in the development and maintain Master Project Schedules and manage the successful execution of projects so that completion falls within intended timeframes.
  • Ensure project team meets the established timelines, financial forecasts & requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead the team in the management of the design process as well as Architects, Interior Designers, Consultants, Engineers, Testing Agencies, and Commissioning Agents, among others.
  • Lead the team to monitor the budget and create cost savings for the client.
  • Serve as liaison between the client, finance and vendors.
  • Collaborate across all JLL platforms including transaction managers, facilities managers, building engineers, occupancy planners, low voltage managers, and move managers, among others.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Apply technology to drive change and provide data accuracy for reporting.
  • Proficiency in the use and application of project management technology tools (i.e. MS Project, Excel, etc.) and continually seek opportunities to develop your skillset.
  • Ensure project closeouts and invoices are completed within established Client SLA for assigned Programs.
  • Champion safety by ensuring JLL guidelines are followed.
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
