The PDS Health Summer Intern Program is a 10-week, on-site, full-time, paid internship that provides undergraduate students with invaluable insight and experience into the operation of a large multi-state employer.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct environmental scans and competitive analyses to evaluate industry trends and benchmark against similar organizations.
• Analyze market and policy landscapes relevant to PDSF's focus areas
• Provide data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decisions
• Work across departments to review, update, and document SOPs for key organizational functions
• Ensure SOPs align with best practices, compliance requirements, and efficiency goals
• Collaborate with team members to collect feedback and refine documentation
• Design pilot frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of new initiatives
• Develop tracking tools and dashboards for evaluating program performance
• Present recommendations for optimizing data collection and reporting processes
• Support team members in day-to-day nonprofit operations
• Provide fresh insights and recommendations to improve PDSF's impact
Qualifications:
• Current or recent enrollment in an accredited graduate program in Business, Communications, Sociology or related field
• Prior experience in a non-profit, higher education or similarly complex organization
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, with a particular strength in Microsoft Excel
Location: On-site at the Irvine Support Center in Irvine, CA.

Compensation Information:
$22.60-$29.40 / Hourly
