What You Drive at DTNA Leadership Coach and mentor the daily activities of direct reports Support and facilitate a safe and ethical working environment and culture Coach, motivate, and develop team members to higher levels of performance Clarify expectations, regularly communicate, provide ongoing performance feedback, and counsel assigned employees Track and monitor shift, team, and individual employee performance Utilize assigned team leader(s) in Lean Principles to promote and develop a continuous improvement culture Effectively support and follow all policies outlined in the contract, handbook, and/or policy guide Functional Responsibilities Oversee Daily Distribution Operations Direct and coordinate all inbound, outbound, and order fulfillment activities to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of heavy-duty truck parts. Maintain workflow continuity across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing. Monitor and Execute Workflows According to Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) Ensure all team members follow established processes, network standards, and safety procedures. Support consistent adherence to documented work instructions to maintain quality, throughput, and compliance expectations. Drive KPI Achievement and Data Integrity Track operational KPIs—including productivity, accuracy, order turnaround, put-away performance, and BOL turnover—while ensuring all reporting is accurate, transparent, and aligned with continuous improvement practices. Identify issues through 5-Why or Pareto analysis and coordinate corrective actions. Execute Staffing and Scheduling Plans Assign daily labor, balance resource allocation across functions, and adjust staffing levels based on volume, priority orders, or process bottlenecks. Coordinate with team leads to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts. Ensure Compliance with Safety and Security Protocols Uphold all DTNA safety requirements, enforce PPE usage, monitor safe working behaviors, and participate in incident investigations, safety audits, and corrective actions. Ensure secure handling of materials, equipment, and facility access points. Collaborate With Cross-Functional Partners Coordinate with corporate PDC Operations, TOS teams, in-house technical support, transportation, procurement, HR, and facility maintenance to resolve operational, staffing, quality, or system issues. Support Systems and Technology Utilization Ensure effective use of DView, WMS platforms, scanning systems, and other distribution technologies. Troubleshoot system issues, request support as needed, and coach employees on proper system usage. Execute Continuous Improvement Initiatives Champion Lean principles, waste reduction, ergonomic improvements, and optimized material flow. Facilitate CI events, engage team members in problem-solving, and support long-term improvement roadmaps. Maintain Housekeeping and 5S Standards Ensure all zones meet cleanliness, organization, and visual-control requirements to support efficiency, safety, and audit readiness.

Requirements

  • BS/BA and 4 years of relevant experience or 6+ years relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • Knowledge of or ability to apply Lean/Continuous improvement tools and principles
  • Prior experience leading teams or projects to achieve elevated levels of performance and engagement in a manufacturing or logistics setting is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to use tact and diplomacy to exchange information, handle sensitive issues, and translate, simplify, and clarify information for employees is required
  • Must be willing and able to complete all required Supervisor training and apply learnings.
