Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum
  • 10+ years’ prior relevant experience or 7+ years’ prior relevant experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • Minimal, infrequent travel may be required as needed.
  • CORE Apprentice Certification or 3 or more years of working experience in lean, continuous improvement, or operations.
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Nice To Haves

  • CORE Professional Certification, Green Belt or Black Belt Certification, or similar.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work with, coach, motivate, and influence others.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CORE & Overall Continuous Improvement activities at the Product Delivery Center (PDC) that drive tangible action and metric improvements across all product lines of the business
  • Collect, standardize, report, and automate where possible, PDC level, product level, and flow line level KPI metrics and utilize that data to identify areas that require improvement plans
  • Assess, establish and execute improvement plans for KPI metrics, CORE maturity level, Standard Production System (SPS), OpX/WAVE, Industry 4.0, and other P&W and RTX initiatives.
  • Plan and lead business level CORE events such as adhoc & quarterly CORE Leadership Weeks, drive follow up actions, and provide regular report outs to leadership team
  • Ensure robust process execution by creating & ensuring continual improvements of PFMEA’s across product lines in support of MRL and other product execution readiness activities.
  • Establish & oversee CORE proficiency growth of the PDC employee population working in collaboration with Black Belt & Red-X Specialists to leverage PDC activities for broad employee skill growth.
  • Support PDC business process audit preparations and follow up activities
