About The Position

Provides constant observation of patients who are in need of supervision because of possible danger to self and/or others, change in mental status (confusion) that may place the patient at risk for injury and/or interferes with the effectiveness of medical/surgical equipment.

Requirements

• Able to follow directions.
• Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and flexibility.
• Successfully completes class on role and responsibilities.
• Command of verbal and written English
• Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer service by providing timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers and staff.
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to effectively communicate to all age levels served within the scope of the position/assigned areas.
• Must have the ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of themselves or other individuals in the workplace, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
