The Plant PCT Engineer is responsible for all electrical and instrumentation matters regarding plant operability, maintenance/reliability, investments, technology improvements, and technical compliance/integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
  • Basic instrument and electrical knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill all HSEQ requirements in the assigned area with high safety awareness
  • Responsible for the integration of all PCT activities
  • Responsible for the sustainable and economical technical scope of all maintenance activities e.g. by checking maintenance technology and activities
  • Lead the maintenance activities in the assigned area, accountable and/or responsible for inspection services, and ensure that all maintenance techniques and practices are complied with company and industrial guidelines and standards
  • Responsible for asset strategy development and implementation, as well as efficiency improvement to reduce FAM cost for routine maintenance activities
  • Responsible for root cause and DE analysis of PCT equipment / device failures, ensure appropriate corrective actions can be implemented, improve the asset performance, support the optimization of plant operation in regard of safety, quality, availability and efficiency
  • Responsible for the assigned project tasks according to related procedures; work as PCT representative for projects
  • Responsible for TA/shut-down work scope, support TA/shut-down planning and responsible for the execution in the assigned area
  • Accountable for keeping all technical documentation and records updated in assigned area
  • Assures that PCT performance supports plant performance, goals related to capacity, operability / availability, economy, compliance, quality, safety, and environment.
  • Has responsibility (technical, budget, timelines, compliance) for the planning and execution of PCT maintenance and investment, projects in the Plant.
  • Has up-to-date knowledge about relevant internal and external, regulations; Assures compliance with local technical and legal rules and, with Company policies in the field of PCT
  • Create preventive maintenance schedules
  • Reviews and adjusts them based on plant performance, equipment failure, history and available best practices
  • Has responsibility for identifying, evaluating, and developing PCT modifications and improvements in the Plant
  • Is responsible to troubleshoot PCT problems in the plant modifies maintenance plans and triggers improvement projects to minimize, PCT failures
