About The Position
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at UAB Medicine is responsible for supporting nursing staff by performing technical aspects of patient care. This role involves monitoring and recording vital signs, weights, and other patient data, while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The PCT will complete an in-house training program and work in a dynamic, supportive environment within a nationally recognized academic medical center.
