It is designed for entry-level candidates who cannot have experience or school/certification as a CNA, MA, Tech/Aid, or in any similar healthcare fields. The program lasts for 14 weeks, with a pay rate of $13 per hour during the apprenticeship. Students will attend classes and training full-time from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at North Lake College Alternate Campus in Irving, Texas, and will also participate in clinicals at a designated Medical City Hospital. After completing the program and receiving their certifications, participants will move to a full-time PCT position if available or a PCT PRN position at the Medical City hospital location where they completed their PSA shifts, with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour.
