About The Position

Patient Care Tech (PCT) Apprentice - Neuro Bring your passion to Texas Health so we are Better + Together Work location: Texas Health Southwest – 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132 Summer 2026 Cohort Start date is June 1, 2026 Must be available to attend the 4-week Apprentice Program training, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, starting Monday, 6/1/2026. Full-Time, Days, 7AM-7PM, 36 hours per week. Three 12-hour variable Day shifts per week, 7:00am to 7:00pm some weekends and Holidays required Upon successful completion of the program, the Trainee will transition into a Patient Care Tech role of posted shift. Here’s What You Need: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required prior to providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly required Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced work environment, positive interpersonal skills, and good verbal and written communication skills. What You Will Do: Texas Health Patient Care Techs (PCT) Apprentices are responsible for “learning while you earn” to create a pathway towards a career in healthcare to provide an excellent patient care experience at each Texas Health site. In addition to the required qualifications, a successful PCT Apprentice will: Complete a PCT apprenticeship program.
