  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify and validate embedded security solutions in automotive systems.
  • Identify and resolve issues that could impact product quality, ensuring systems are robust and secure.
  • Ensure security implementations meet ISO 21434, AIS 189, AIS 190, and other relevant automotive cybersecurity standards.
  • Evaluate validation test data to confirm systems or processes meet established validation criteria.
  • Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and security audits on embedded automotive systems.
  • Perform risk assessments and threat analyses to detect vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain thorough documentation, including test plans, results, and security compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with software developers, systems engineers, and quality assurance teams to ensure effective security integration.
  • Stay updated with industry cybersecurity trends and integrate new methods to enhance security V&V processes.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in automotive cybersecurity or embedded systems security, preferably with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of automotive domain security concepts, end-to-end workflows, and communication protocols (UDS/CAN, J1939, LIN, Ethernet).
  • Proficiency in embedded systems programming (C/C++, Python) and knowledge of cryptographic algorithms and protocols.
  • Familiarity with ISO 21434, AIS 189, and AIS 190 standards, as well as vulnerability testing and static code analysis.
  • Experience with automotive security testing, including intrusion and tamper detection mechanisms, and embedded system implementations in ECM development.
  • Basic understanding of cloud services, API security, and vehicle control module interactions for secure data handshakes.
