About The Position

PCMM Technician needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Huntsville, AL. An active Secret clearance is required for this opportunity. Contract Length: 6+ months

Requirements

• Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED with 3-5 or more years of relevant experience.
• Candidates must be fluent with standard measurement equipment, i.e. micrometers, calipers, intra micrometers, optical comparator etc.
• Candidates must have 4 or more years' experience using Romer Arm, AS1 Scanner, Leica AT960 Laser Tracker, Leica AT402 Laser Tracker, or CMM
• Candidates must be proficient in GD&T per ASMEY14.5-2009
• Candidates must be able to execute or witness test procedures and generate test reports.
• Candidates must have demonstrated experience reading and interpreting drawings, assembly schematics, and specifications and prepare handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in inspection of complex aerospace hardware, non-conforming material, Material Review Board (MRB), review/creation of Acceptance Data Packs / First Article Inspection
• Experience with ISO9001/AS9100 quality systems, AS5553 counterfeit prevention, and AS9102 first article inspection
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Candidates preferred to have experience with Spatial Analyzer or similar PCMM software

Responsibilities

• Inspect large-scale parts at various machining stages (first piece to final inspection)
• Utilize Romer arms, laser trackers, and scanners (handheld or blue light) for inspections
• Perform manual layout inspections as needed
• Inspect components such as weldments, integrated assemblies, and tooling
• Document non-conforming materials as required
• Provide concise feedback to machinists and engineers based on data collection
• Maintain and calibrate all measurement and inspection equipment
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Generate quality documentation including inspection reports, bubble prints, C of C's and NCR's.
