About The Position

Responsibilities: Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software. Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications. Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. Position requires knowledge and exposure to hardware design. Typically programs in machine language, assembly language and high level languages (e.g., C, C++). Knowledge: Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Job Complexity / Contribution : Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships. Has mastered most of the basic job duties. Supervision : Incumbents are still occasionally directed in several aspects of their work. However, more straightforward tasks are accomplished without assistance.

Requirements

• Knowledge and exposure to hardware design.
• Programs in machine language, assembly language and high level languages (e.g., C, C++).
• Bachelors and 2+ years of related experience or Masters degree and no experience
