About The Position

Under the supervision, support, and guidance of the PCE manager and with instructional design staff support, the Professional and Continuing Education Subject Matter Expert designs and delivers non-credit educational content focused on professional development, personal enrichment, or skill-building. Responsibilities may include designing, developing, and building course content as assigned, facilitating synchronous (live online) or asynchronous (self-paced or fixed date) sessions, preparing instructional materials, and providing timely student support and feedback to ensure learning outcomes are met. The Subject Matter Expert also maintains course records and is required to complete all required training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, communication, community outreach, business administration or related discipline or equivalent in work experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in course topic
  • Must hold the certification being taught, if applicable

  • Master's degree related field
