About The Position

Job Purpose:
- To conduct outreach and engagement activities related to violence intervention and prevention programs within the community served by Northeast Treatment Center.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, public health, or related field.
• Experience working with individuals impacted by violence.
• Experience in community outreach and engagement.
• Experience developing and implementing prevention programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of violence prevention principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with individuals and communities affected by violence.
• Provide information and resources related to violence prevention and intervention services.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions on violence prevention topics.
• Collect data and track program outcomes.
• Participate in community events and initiatives related to violence prevention.
• Other duties as assigned.
