Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5 years in an electronic repairs department.
  • Component‑level troubleshooting prowess and strong problem‑solving.
  • PCB soldering/desoldering experience; strong knowledge of electronic components.
  • Math proficiency; basic computer skills with Microsoft Suite.
  • Team collaboration and clear written/oral communication.
  • Willing to work overtime when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • IPC-A610, IPC J-STD-001, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 certifications/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic/electrical/mechanical assemblies to engineering criteria.
  • Read and apply assembly drawings, schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
  • Perform label and hardware quality checks; complete point‑to-point continuity verification before electrical testing.
  • Operate multimeters, function generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, wave analyzers, and Bench Test Equipment (BTE).
  • Execute precision component‑level soldering and desoldering on PCBs.
  • Use PPE at all times; maintain a safe, orderly area aligned with 5S.
  • Leverage hand/power tools and test gear effectively.
  • Support the Team Lead and fellow Repair Technicians; report to the Production Supervisor and/or Team Leader.
