Administrative and Support Services

This role involves assisting engineers in designing and developing complex and detailed layouts of printed circuit boards. The position requires providing creative technical solutions for working plans, detailed drawings, and completed electrical drawings of printed circuit board components and assemblies for a wide variety of complex products. You will work from preliminary schematics, notes, part lists, rough or detailed sketches, and basic descriptions of board functions and configurations as defined by engineering. The role includes establishing design standards and configurations, verifying completed design elements, checking dimensions, and determining materials and quantities. Assignments are typically outlined in terms of overall objectives and anticipated results, and work is reviewed at major milestones or upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. The role may also involve providing direction to less experienced PC board designers and support staff.
