About The Position

The PCB Designer/Developer will support the various projects located in Houston, TX. PCB Designer/Developer capable of designing and developing PCBs, electronic circuit schematics, circuit logic diagrams, layout, ground planes, manufacturer documentation, and performing testing and DRC.

Requirements

• This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in the field of electrical engineering or a related field.
• Must have 8+ years of recent and related work experience.
• In-lieu of degree: Candidates with 12+ years of recent and related work experience will be considered.
• Must have experience in designing and developing PCBs.
• Must have experience in designing and developing electronic circuit schematics.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with manufacturers to product designed PCBs.
• Experience working with PCBs in underwater or submersible environments.
• Experience performing tests and checks (including DRC) on PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Design/Develop PCBs for underwater systems and submersibles.
• Design/Develop Electronic Circuit Schematics.
• Design/Develop electronic circuit diagrams.
• Translate schematics into physical design.
• Organize components, running traces, and creating ground planes.
• Perform tests and checks including DRC.
• Develop necessary Manufacturer document.
• Other duties as assigned.
