Since 1965, Stoneridge has designed and manufactured advanced, award-winning technologies including driveline and transmission actuation systems, vision systems, emissions control systems, safety systems, and security and monitoring systems for vehicle OEMs in the commercial vehicle, automotive, off-highway and agricultural vehicle markets. We’re focused on the areas of greatest market need – both today and tomorrow. Our core products and technologies are aligned with industry megatrends including safety and security, vehicle intelligence, fuel efficiency and emissions. Join the Stoneridge Team as we continue to build upon our strong history and reputation for quality products to deliver innovative products and systems that address a need, exceed our customers’ expectations, and motivate our team. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and develop PCB layouts from electrical schematics using PCB design software Siemens (Mentor Graphics) Xpedition. Design and develop highly complex PCB layouts leveraging design methodologies by board technology, e.g., analog, power supplies, digital, RF, and mixed technologies Design and develop low-noise, high-density, multi-layer circuit boards ensuring signal integrity and mechanical fit, including flex and rigid-flex PCBs. Create, release and maintain all documentation for the PCB layout, including Gerber files. Manage constraints and perform design rule checks and other PCB design checks related to electrical, mechanical and manufacturing requirements. Collaborate with design engineers and cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs into larger systems within hardware and/or mechanical systems to ensure environmental requirements are met. Perform and coordinate DFM/DFA activities with cross functional team’s, design reviews. Perform and coordinate simulations and validations with cross-functional team to ensure functionality and reliability of a PCBA. Provides, suggests, and supports solutions for VA/VE and cost improvement activities related to PCB/A’s.
