PCB Design Engineer within Datacenter Infrastructure Analog Devices is currently recruiting for the role of PCB Layout Engineer within the Datacenter Solutions team. In this role, you will be responsible for the layout of power modules and systems to support next generation Datacenter solutions. Datacenter infrastructure encompasses the physical and virtual resources that support a data center's operations. This includes hardware like servers, storage, networking equipment, power systems, energy systems, and cooling systems, as well as software for resource management and virtualization. The infrastructure is crucial for ensuring the data center's efficiency, security, and reliability. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES This role requires wide skill in the PCB industry. PCB layout and extensive knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes and how to address problems as they arise with FAB and assembly houses. Ideal candidate will be proficient with Allegro, PADS experience a plus. Experience with simulation tools for Power, IR Drop, delay matching, skew, TDR, digital and analog signal integrity, and isolation from EM and RF. Knowledgeable in the limitations, cost adders and technology choices for multi-layer PCB, dielectrics, Vias, stack-up, laminations, Design-For-Manufacturability techniques. Layout of PCB modules, SiP, and laminates of Datacenter Solution Products Prepare and present layout review documentation at peer review meetings. QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of a bachelor’s degree in ECE or equivalent engineering degree. With knowledge in PCB design/layout i.e. schematic, layout, or simulation. Familiarity or exposure to PCB Design/Layout field is an advantage. Knowledgeable in basic electronics, circuit analysis, transmission line principles and signal integrity. Knowledge in circuit and layout simulation and analysis is an advantage. Knowledge in Cadence CAD tools (Concept and Allegro) is an advantage. Good oral and written communication skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to travel as needed up to 20% of time. Requirements
