Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference by assisting with personal care, completing light household tasks, and providing valuable social interaction that enhances each client’s overall quality of life.
Requirements
- A genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle (preferred).
- Ability to follow a written Care Plan and document daily activities.
- Able to lift up to 25–50 lbs and assist with physical transfers.
- A strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and personal hygiene.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and maintain a tidy environment.
- Provide transportation for grocery shopping, errands, and medical appointments. and social outings.
- Offer meaningful companionship, engaging clients in conversation, reading, and recreational activities.
- Monitor the home environment for fall risks and assist with safe transfers (e.g., from bed to chair).
- Observe and report any changes in the client's physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or office staff.
- Follow individualized care plans accurately and efficiently.
