About The Position

Visiting Angels is looking to increase our "Angel" team. We have many inquiries in the Westfield area. New Year means...New job, Right? We've got to pay those holiday bills, Right? Join our award winning team of senior home care professionals in the greater Springfield area. Our elderly clients need help around their homes with personal care, palliative care, respite care, meal preparation and feeding, mobility assistance and transfers, light housekeeping duties, transportation to and from appointments, and companionship. You can make a difference in someone’s life today! Visiting Angels is "America's Choice In Homecare!" We are a non-medical, private pay & VA senior provider operating since 1999. Our work culture is top notch. We have many caregivers that have been with us for several years. We work with You to create a mutually acceptable work/client schedule. Work as much as 40 hours per week or as little as 4 hours per week. Flexibility is our Best Benefit!

Requirements

At least, either 1+ years of experience in direct care, nursing students, or newly certified
Experience with Dementia & Fall risk Elders
Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English & Communicate verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and administrative staff
Reliable Transportation
Two Valid forms of Identification
Willing to submit to background checks
At least 2 professional references (not friends)
Willing to accept at least 1 shift e/o weekend
