This is a part-time position requiring 24 hours per week, primarily during the day shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, two days a week, with weekends and holidays as per unit rotation. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the role involves a variety of duties designed to assist with the direct care of patients. Responsibilities include ordering and stocking unit supplies needed for patient care and locating shared equipment within the hospital. Timely and efficient completion of these tasks is essential for quality patient care. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to communicate effectively and relate politely to patients, visitors, and fellow staff members, while adhering to the Borgess Medical Center mission, vision, and values.
