About The Position

CUAnswers is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused PC Technician Intern to support our organization’s ongoing configuration, deployment, tracking, and return of client workstations. This temporary role offers hands-on experience in desktop support, hardware setup, and IT operations while working with both internal teams and external clients. This is a temp position lasting up to 6 months. Up to 12 months if actively enrolled in school full-time.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • 1–2 years of prior office or IT-related experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with both internal teams and external clients
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data appropriately
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of prior office or IT-related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure software on new PCs
  • Set up PC hardware for internal users
  • Configure CUBase Update Appliances
  • Transport IT equipment between CUAnswers office locations
  • Track, document, and manage equipment in motion
  • Perform basic hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Securely erase data from PCs
  • Review documentation checklists and assist with process improvements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
