About The Position

The IT Support Technician monitors and maintains the company’s hardware and software systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED With Associate's Degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer systems and programming.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Three to five years of information systems experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance and provides on-site and remote support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.
  • Directs unresolved issues to the next level when needed.
  • Documents, tracks and monitors support calls to ensure timely resolution.
  • Provides end user support for all network-based software applications.
  • Installs and configures PC workstations, laptops, tablet PCs and printers.
  • Visits remote sites on a rotating and as-needed basis to perform end user functions which are not capable of being resolved remotely.
  • All other duties as assigned.
