About The Position

This seasonal position will end October 2025. At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. This individual is responsible for answering calls to the resort and must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. The PBX Telephone Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls. The PBX Telephone Operator should be comfortable and able to answer questions relating to the hotel.

Requirements

• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Ability to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct all incoming calls, including guest calls, internal calls, and external calls, promptly and courteously.
• Provide accurate information and assistance to guests and employees regarding hotel services, hours of operation, local area information, and directions.
• Process wake-up call requests and deliver messages accurately and on time.
• Maintain an updated and accurate directory of employees, departments, and other essential contacts.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate communication with security or relevant personnel as needed.
• Ensure the confidentiality of guest information and adhere to data privacy standards.
• Relay guest requests to appropriate departments and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain proper operation of the PBX equipment, reporting any issues to IT or management.
• Keep logs of all emergency calls, complaints, and other relevant information accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience.
• Assist with other front office duties as needed.
