At Great Wolf, our PBX Operator is the heartbeat of the hotel and is responsible for processing all incoming and outgoing communications in a friendly, professional manner.
Greets individuals over the PBX in a professional, caring and courteous manner
Responds to guest inquiries and complaints and escalates concerns to appropriate leadership
Dispatches guest requests and concerns to appropriate department utilizing HOTSOS
Assists potential guests by providing detailed information regarding room types, amenities, pricing, booking reservations and upselling
Provides receptionist service over the PBX, and direct calls to the appropriate department in a professional manner
Contacts appropriate personnel or services during emergency situations
Adheres to all resort and department policies, procedures and goals
General office functions as assigned to support the department efficiency
High School Diploma or equivalent (may have current enrollment)
Must be flexible regarding schedule, based on business demands
Previous experience demonstrating strong customer service
Successful completions of a criminal background check and drug screen
Previous PBX experience, or similar phone/switchboard system
Ability to multi-task and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal direction
