The PBX Operator is dedicated to serving the guests of Rolling Hills Casino as the first point of contact by phone as the PBX Operator. Provides friendly, courteous, and professional service at all times, creating excellent service experience for the guests. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: PBX Operator: · Applies RHC’s The Rolling Hills Way Standards through competent multitasking and answering multiple lines in a F.A.C.T manner. · Answers and routes all incoming calls on PBX telephone console including making reservations for Hotels, RV park, Stay & Play packages, and restaurant reservations · Recognizes, understands, and responds appropriately to all sounds and visual indicators on PBX telephone console · Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and guest services skills · Provides an overview of guest services over the phone. · Up-sells all Rolling Hills Casino Amenities (Golf, Packages, Events, Equine. Center, etc.) · Ensures accurate/adequate documentation/information to meet guest’s requests. · Effectively resolves guest complaints with understanding and compassion. · Processes reservations in a timely manner to guarantee proper handling of all requests. · Makes special notes of guest requests to guarantee guest satisfaction. · Handles stressful situations and makes informed and efficient decisions · Understands all room types, safety, and emergency procedures. · Follows all applicable policies and procedures. · Maintains effective and efficient communication relationships with various departments. · Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the PBX room and surrounding area. · Available to work all shifts as required by business needs, including potential overtime. · Answers incoming calls and transfers to appropriate departments. · Performs a variety of clerical duties and projects. · Knowledge of Rolling Hills Casino Resort promotions, menus and events.
