About The Position

The PBX Operator operates a multiple-call telephone switchboard system, providing routine information and routing calls to the appropriate person or location. This role also involves operating the facility-wide paging system and responding to codes and alarms in a timely manner. The operator is responsible for utilizing Emergency Communication equipment to communicate with hospital staff across all locations, as well as with local and state agencies.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• 1 year PBX experience
• Experience working in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities
