About The Position

As a PBX Operator at Travel + Leisure Co., you will play a crucial role in ensuring guests have memorable vacations by providing excellent service from registration to checkout. Your responsibilities will include welcoming guests, guiding them through the registration process, handling transactions, and addressing inquiries, all while promoting teamwork and quality service.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, understanding).
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong organizing skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.
• Knowledge of hotel hospitality front office systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm welcomes to guests from around the world.
• Guide guests through the registration process and issue unit keys.
• Provide information about the resort and area attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions following established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts and perform bucket checks.
• Complete all check-out procedures and verify charges and credits in guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm reservations for individuals and/or groups.
• Provide guests with room rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications with other departments.
