About The Position

In House Marketing Assistant Manager at Tropicana is responsible for assisting the In-House Marketing Manager in overseeing the daily operations and productivity of the In-House Marketing Team. This role includes interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, developing, and managing the performance of associates. The position is based in Central Location, Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a full-time role within the Marketing Management sector.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Ability to effectively coach, counsel and motivate direct reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to efficiently multi-task.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Working knowledge of marketing databases.
  • Ability to recruit, train and develop employees.
  • Ability to lead by example.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Ability to carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on all company systems such as; Mainframe, Focus and CRS.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supervision of In-House Marketing staff: interview, hire and train associates; plan, assign and direct work; conduct performance reviews; motivate, reward, and provide disciplinary action when necessary (termination and conflict resolution).
  • Maintain total site marketing penetration standards set by management. Run daily reports including Daily Arrival Report, Daily In-House Report, Owner Arrival report. Prepare daily and weekly status reports including Show factors and Penetration rates for corporate deadlines.
  • Coordinate with In-House and Front Line sales management regarding tour seats available and potential tour flow. Coordinate with sales regarding new/changes in marketing programs.
  • Maintain copies of invitations and daily tour manifests for reference purposes. Resolve issues pertaining to tour statuses, bookings, coding, etc. Order and maintain departmental supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
