About The Position

The PBM Formulary Analyst ll is responsible for translating basic business needs into application software requirements. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of remote work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Requirements

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
• One year or more Excel experience working with large data files and other general reporting tools preferred.
• Pharmacy technician license and/or experience preferred.
• Experience working in a highly organized environment with 100% accuracy requirements, very high level of attention to detail, multiple concurrent demands, and short turnaround times preferred.
• Formulary, clinical rules, pharmacy claims analysis, and/or prior authorization experience for a pharmacy benefit manager or health plan strongly preferred.
• Experience creating and maintaining process documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
• Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
• Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
• Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
• Perform data analyses and prepare formulary / clinical rule change files.
