In this position you will be responsible for managing, implementing, and executing on at least one key project throughout Optum Utah. This position requires a unique skill set that includes leading cross-functional teams on complex projects, collaborating vertically and horizontally throughout the organization, understanding workflow, and creating a collaborative environment to work effectively throughout the organization to ensure alignment of strategy and approach. The individual in this position coordinates with Optum Leadership Team, project managers, program managers, training teams, and other stakeholders to ensure all goals and objectives are met. You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

  • Graduate Student currently enrolled in an MHA/MBA program. Must have completed first year of program
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization (F-1 students with practical training and candidates requiring H-1Bs, TNs, etc. will not be considered)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in tracking, planning projects, working with large data sets, and making data-driven analytical decision
  • Basic level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills as well as the ability to balance multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
