Wells Fargo is seeking a candidate for the role of Investigator. In this role, you will conduct investigations and gather comprehensive evidentiary materials on cases with low to moderate risk or complexity related to individual allegations. You will train, consult, and provide risk-based investigative products and services to all lines of business, using your technology expertise to gather comprehensive evidentiary materials. Additionally, you will provide support for lower complexity investigations and guide and execute internal investigation programs with moderate to high risk or complexity. Making risk-based decisions in compliance with company policies based on legal and regulatory requirements is essential, as well as reviewing basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures and low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables. You will analyze complex allegations and diverse individual relations problems using independent judgment based on an in-depth review of company policy and procedures and employment law legislation. The position functions under a moderate degree of guidance and supervision with limited exposure to client senior management. Collaboration with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders is key, as well as creating and providing communication to reporting parties, investigators, and leaders, including law enforcement and legal counsel. You will also collaborate with employee relations, legal, business management, and other resources to offer decision recommendations based on investigation results and serve as the primary client contact on assigned casework.
