About The Position

As a Client Support Specialist for our Payroll Product, you'll have the opportunity to work on the forefront, supporting our payroll software and serving as the primary contact for small and medium-sized business clients across various industries. You'll be able to hone your troubleshooting skills, multitask effectively, and balance multiple projects while being a positive influence for businesses. Sounds pretty cool, right? In the Payroll Support role, you will engage in extensive client interactions, providing expert guidance on payroll processing, ensuring compliance with tax liabilities, and setting up benefit deductions. Your ability to troubleshoot software issues will be crucial in delivering seamless support to our clients. This position requires keen attention to detail and a commitment to meeting performance metrics, as you will be the primary point of contact for resolving complex payroll inquiries. Your expertise will help clients navigate the intricacies of our payroll system, ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional client service and have a strong interest in payroll processes, this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • Enjoy engaging in phone conversations for up to 6 hours a day.
  • Demonstrate a passion for customer care and the ability to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Show a desire to learn payroll; prior experience is welcome but not required.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal forms.
  • Exhibit impeccable attention to detail.
  • Be tech-savvy and able to learn various software applications quickly.
  • The ability to multi-task throughout your day is needed.
  • Type at a speed of 60+ words per minute.
  • You're available for in-office training during your training/ramping period (which takes approx. 2 weeks, dependent on performance).

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional email and phone support for customers that love our software
  • Provide solutions to questions regarding deductions, garnishments, the BambooHR payroll software, etc. (if you don’t already know this, don’t worry, we’ll teach you!)
  • Research solutions to challenging problems our clients face
  • Help clients integrate and utilize the software in the best way possible
  • Do your best, focused work, Monday through Friday (no weekends!)
