About The Position

The individual will be responsible to oversee Payroll Processing Operation.

Requirements

• 4-6 years payroll experience with Skilled Nursing Home Facilities
• 1+ years of management experience
• Have payroll experience and a detailed understanding of payroll processing procedures and regulations.
• Have the ability to troubleshoot unique situations that arise.
• Able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Able to operate independently
• Attentive to detail
• Organized
• Able to learn new systems and policies
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee Payroll Processing - Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payrolls.
• Review, audit and approve all payrolls to be finalized.
• Confirm that all ACH submissions were successful daily.
• Maintain processor assignments to accommodate onboardings, vacation/sick/holiday coverage and balanced workloads.
• Provide daily assistance to team and Supervisors on items requiring higher level of experience.
• Implement / maintain policies and procedures for payroll processing teams.
• Identify core issues and areas for improvement
• Implement and document new procedures and train teams on them
• Oversee workflow of payroll team
• Ensure processes are running and schedules are being adhered to.
• Assist with other areas of department as necessary
