About The Position

MobilityWorks is seeking an outgoing and energetic Payroll Specialist to join their team. This hybrid role involves processing payroll bi-weekly using the ezLabor time management system and ADP WorkforceNow platform. The Payroll Specialist will also assist the Payroll Manager in auditing payroll-related legislation, practices, and policies, ensuring compliance with applicable laws while contributing to a mission that provides mobility solutions for the disabled community.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 3+ years' experience with ADP Workforce Now payroll systems and time/labor systems.
  • Multi-state payroll experience required.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal payroll laws required.
  • Demonstrable competency with computers, including MS Word and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll bi-weekly utilizing ezLabor and ADP WorkforceNow.
  • Assist the Payroll Manager in auditing payroll-related legislation, practices, and policies.
  • Analyze, prepare, and audit all payroll data for ADP and ezLabor.
  • Enter and balance all manual payroll batches.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage & hour laws and tax laws.
  • Enter employee changes in ADP, such as tax filing and direct deposit.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports.
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned.
