The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing, printing, and distribution of payroll checks, in accordance with company policies and procedures and government legal requirements. This role involves processing payroll for 300-500 employees and calculating prevailing wage and job costs for both union and non-union employees. The specialist will also handle payroll adjustments, request supplemental checks, and process monthly billings for health and dental insurance and union dues. Additionally, the role requires maintaining all required payroll records, filings, and reports, ensuring timely filing of government forms, and completing all necessary reports and filings.
