About The Position

The Payroll Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Payroll Manager and Payroll Team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing across the organization. This position is responsible for maintaining employee payroll data, assisting with payroll reporting, and supporting payroll operations using our HRIS and payroll platform (ADP). Requirements

  • Associates degree preferred, high school diploma with relevant payroll experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Human Resources/Payroll systems (ADP experience strongly preferred).
  • Accurate data entry a must.
  • Proficiency with 10 key calculators.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • ADP experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist in processing employee late time sheets, time and attendance timecards and payroll reports from all systems used in both a timely and accurate manner.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding payroll related issues.
  • Completing verification of employment forms.
  • Handling of garnishment entries processing of weekly planned and unplanned reports for all Home Health Aides.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance standards.
  • Maintain both patient and employee confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and use of any active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
  • Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor and/or department director.
