The primary function of the Payroll Specialist will primarily be responsible for providing payroll support for the GMS Payroll Team, Payroll system and other HR related third party applications. Duties & Responsibilities Primary responsibility is to ensure timely and accurate processing of time and attendance data necessary to accurately process payroll. Responds to verifications and employment and wage garnishments Ensures Time & Attendance and other HR related systems are functioning properly. Adheres to internal control processes, including payroll balancing and other internal control compliance. Verifies Paid Time Off accruals and balances across all companies. Responds to employee questions about their pay, deductions, and other payroll-related matters. Investigates and resolves any errors or discrepancies in payroll processing. Works with other departments, such as Human Resources and Finance, to ensure accurate and efficient payroll processing. Setting up new employees in the payroll system.
