About The Position

A growing construction-related organization is seeking a detail-driven Payroll Specialist to manage weekly payroll for both field and office employees. This role is essential to ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Requirements

  • 3?5+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction or union environments
  • Strong knowledge of certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements
  • Experience with enterprise payroll systems
  • Advanced Excel skills and exceptional attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Process complex weekly payroll using multiple payroll systems
  • Review and reconcile timesheets, earnings, deductions, and net pay
  • Apply union pay rules, overtime, double time, and prevailing wage requirements
  • Prepare and submit certified payroll and compliance reports
  • Maintain employee payroll records, direct deposits, deductions, and tax data
  • Support union reporting, fringe benefits, and retirement contributions
