About The Position
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in the search for a Payroll Specialist for one of our clients. The Payroll Specialist will be brought on a contract basis for 2 to 6 months.
Requirements
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills and high attention to detail
Nice To Haves
- SAP, WorkDay, or Workforce knowledge preferred
- Payroll experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Review bi-weekly payroll process queries, labor redistributions, budget transfers, spreadsheets, and forms
- Resolve issues with ACH and direct deposit issues with checks
- Prepare and verify bank deposits daily and record journal entries
- Investigate employee pay issues
- Data entry of payroll data
- Manage and maintain documentation and storage of payroll records
