About The Position
The Payroll Specialist will process weekly payroll, perform payroll audits, process garnishments, and other payroll associated duties as assigned. This role involves entering, maintaining, and processing information in the payroll system, which may include employees' hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other relevant information. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing using Workday, Kronos, and ADP, ensuring proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions. Additionally, the role includes auditing payroll using reporting from Workday, issuing or reissuing physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge, and entering and maintaining wage garnishments using ADP. The Payroll Specialist will also assist with new-hire orientations to discuss payroll topics, distribute materials related to payroll changes, provide necessary reports for allocation/billing charges, and perform other duties as assigned.
