About The Position
Our employees work hard to serve our clients and help our business grow. As such, we want all employees to receive on-time paychecks and understand their salaries thoroughly. To this end, our Payroll team is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to assist with the coordination, processing and continuous improvement of the payroll function. In this role, you will be entrusted to audit and verify time keeping records of employees' hours worked, as well as any deductions or withholdings required to comply with state and federal law. You will review, import, and audit payroll data for processing, and be adept at maintaining confidential information. To be successful, you should be willing to work cross-departmentally with HR and accounting, be knowledgeable of payroll taxes, proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have a solid understanding of payroll processing. This is a remote position, but the candidate must be based in Tucson, AZ, and available for occasional on-site meetings or trainings according to business needs.
