About The Position

Requirements

• AA or BA Degree in accounting or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2-3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-state, union environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, especially high proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with computerized payroll or accounting systems is required.
• Excellent organization skills, time management, and prioritization abilities.

• Exposure to payroll integration, system implementation, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support U.S. and Canadian employees and payroll administrators using documented standard process descriptions.
• Perform payroll processing functions in PeopleSoft to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records of payroll transactions for active and inactive employees.
• Audit and ensure accuracy and timely processing of payroll cases.
• Identify deficiencies in payroll processes and recommend changes.
