About The Position

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll for a global news company, handling multiple payroll cycles for both domestic and international employees. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team in a growing organization, ensuring accurate payroll processing and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5 years of experience in payroll processing
• Experience with BDO and Ceridian
• Experience processing payroll for 100+ employees
• Knowledge of multistate payroll tax regulations
• Familiarity with manual payroll systems and SAP

Nice To Haves

• Experience with 1099s
• Knowledge of international payroll
• Internal audit experience

Responsibilities

• Administering payroll for United States and Central/South American employees
• Preparing, verifying, and processing all employee payroll-related payments
• Identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Ensuring the processing and completion of all payroll data
• Auditing payroll and checking for anomalies
• Processing and uploading 4 different pay cycles
