About The Position

The position involves processing weekly, multistate, and union payroll for over 200 employees. The role requires reviewing and collecting timecards for accuracy, preparing and submitting certified payroll and prevailing wage reports, and managing tax payments and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Additionally, the individual will handle garnishments, child support, and other payroll deductions, administer collective bargaining agreements, and support compliance audits while maintaining accurate payroll records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; 4+ years of related experience preferred
  • Experience calculating pay adjustments for overtime, time off, etc.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset when assisting employees with payroll questions
  • Construction industry experience in payroll is required
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
  • Experience with Viewpoint or another major ERP system is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
