About The Position

Prime Data Centers develops, acquires, and operates data centers for some of the world's largest enterprises. A private firm owned by a group controlling $6 billion in assets, with a 15-year tenure in technology and real estate development, Prime provides customers with ownership options and dynamic leasing models, defining a true corporate partnership. The Payroll Specialist/HR Generalist is responsible for supporting all aspects of the HR function—including payroll administration, benefits administration, new hire onboarding, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years in an HR, payroll administration, or generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll administration and HR functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with HRIS or payroll software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare onboarding and offboarding documentation for new hires and exiting employees.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process payroll semi-monthly for US and European based employees.
  • Administer and track employee benefits enrollment and respond to basic inquiries.
  • Assist in performance review and employee evaluation processes.
  • Help enforce company policies and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee training sessions, staff meetings, and engagement activities.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail related to Human Resources.
  • Assist the accounting team with corporate card transaction review, vendor invoicing, and petty cash management.
  • Support company events, meeting logistics, and travel arrangements.
