About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Payroll Specialist for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Requirements

• Associates degree in accounting or related field
• Two years of payroll experience including one year payroll experience in a healthcare organization preferred

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll
• Distributing payment to employees
• Remitting taxes and other withholdings on a timely basis
• Helping employees understand payroll calculations and deductions
• Assisting with preparing annual W-2 and 1095-C forms
• Preparing quarterly payroll tax reports
