AS A PAYROLL SPECIALIST CONTRACTOR, YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Process the payroll for the US and Canadian-based employees Manage the state, local, and provinces payroll tax notifications Maintain the payroll records in the payroll system Balance payroll accounts Work on other non-payroll related tasks, including assisting the Finance team with the monthly billing function

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in processing payroll; at a global level is a plus
  • Experience with handling payroll tax notices
  • Produce payroll reporting
  • Some knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping is a plus
  • Come into the office 2 days a week (Ramsey, NJ- Remote 3 days a week)
  • Work approximately 20 hrs/week

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the ADP WFN payroll system
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks or NetSuite systems a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process the payroll for the US and Canadian-based employees
  • Manage the state, local, and provinces payroll tax notifications
  • Maintain the payroll records in the payroll system
  • Balance payroll accounts
  • Work on other non-payroll related tasks, including assisting the Finance team with the monthly billing function
