Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree and 2–4 years of payroll experience, preferably in a global or multi-entity organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll systems (ADP, Oracle).
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and confidently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing
  • Coordinate and execute payroll for all Deckers Brands employees in the U.S. and Canada using ADP systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and Audit Payroll Records
  • Manage payroll data for audits, terminations, garnishments, and escheatments.
  • Interpret and apply state/local statutes with precision.
  • Support Timekeeping & System Integrity
  • Administer and troubleshoot timekeeping systems, ensuring correct data flow and security access across departments.
  • Deliver Stakeholder Reporting
  • Provide essential reports to HR, Finance, and external agencies, including 401(k), SDI, and employment verifications.
  • Champion Compliance & Continuous Learning
  • Stay ahead of changing payroll laws and regulations.
  • Participate in training and contribute to process improvements.
  • Drive Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Director and team on impactful projects that enhance our payroll operations and employee experience.
